After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

WA Barista comp - Results

Well Five Senses definately dominated the WA Barista comp, supplying the coffee for the top three competitors.  Here are the results.

1: Mark from 5 senses and Western Australian Barista Academy

2: Jesper from Ristretto  

3: Michael from  Rocket fuel

Well done to each of the competitors.!!

    Rocket Fuel - is that based on the NZ franchise? The Fuel / Octane connection?

    Um, maybe, but I don't think so.  I'm pretty sure it's a drive-through coffee shop, with a small cafe attached.  Pretty serious about their coffee (Synesso, Roburs etc) with some very keen baristas.

    Just a further quick update regarding latte art and cupping.  Kim Godleman (production manager at 5 senses) took out the latte art prize and Ben Bicknell (quality control manager at 5 senses and aasca big wig) won the cupping.
