After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Driving home, heard that there was bad traffic in Bayswater due to power blackouts and hoped this wasn't effecting Jeff.

Turned on the generator once to roast. Also made coffee by the light of candles, a hand grinder, stove top percolator on top of the wood fire heater. Worked a treat.
Maybe should keep some cold press in the fridge for emergencies!  ;D

    Ummm, don't you need power to keep the fridge going?  :P Isn't it nice to have an excuse to ditch all the power hungry items we take for-granted?  That's one of the reasons I love my wood fired oven.  It's not convienent because it has to be a good 1 1/2 hours before,  but it's nice to be outside, relaxing, building up the fire, and then cooking in it.  :)
