After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Myth of the 8-hour sleep...

coffee only has a 'bit part' in this, but it's quite interesting: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-16964783

  • I've always known the 8 hour thing to be a myth. I much prefer about 16 hours :P Unfortunately I've never been unemployed long enough to find out what my "natural" amount of sleep is. I've always been of the opinion that society should get up earlier though - starting the day 3 hours after the sun comes up seems a bit odd to me.
  • I sleep really well And I will wake up when I'm ready

Trying growing up in the UK mate, you'll learn to sleep in.  In summer the sun comes up around 3am and goes down around 11pm.  ???  In winter it comes up at 9am and goes down at 3pm  >:(  , so you do a communte to work in the dark and come home in the dark which is depressing and miserable I can tell ya. I like my sleep ins!
