After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Starting out

edited January 1970 in Espresso Machines
G'day all,
This is my first look at this site and it looks very informative. so is there someone out there who can steer me on the right track as to setting up a mobile coffee cart? I already have the cart but not the espresso machine. i need advice on water for the machine. Does the machines pump have enough power to draw from a water container inside the cart through a filter? any other advice about setting up would be greatly appreciated, such as tips on display, signage etc.
thanks heaps
Greg

  • Greg What city are you in?????? John
  • I live about 1hour 20min. North west of Brisbane at little place called Gregors Creek, near Kilcoy Pinot. Greg.
  • Greg, "...Does the machines pump have enough power to draw from a water container inside the cart through a filter?....yes, unless the filter is very restrictive, however some carts have an inbuilt water pump (that suplies other stuff on the cart as well) that pressurises the water supply... Regardz, FC.
  • Yes FC it does have a pump on the cart,i did'nt realize it had a T junction to allow for the espresso water hose.Amazing what you find when you look! thanks.
