These are like Rocking horse s#^t to find Managed to get one from Francesco Ceccarelli in Italy  :thumb: Arrived yesterday I fitted it last night and now working perfectly again

for future reference you can always have a one off element made. You send the original assembly and "they" copy it, using the flange supplied.....so rarity doesnt have to mean desperation. There may be others but the one that comes easily to mind is a company called Stokes in Melbourne.

Ok thanks, I would imagine that option would be fairly expensive, I might look into it if the cost was reasonable im sure a few more La peppina owners would be interested in a spare element.

Honestly I dont think you'll find it's *that* expensive although I fully realise every individual may have a different idea of what constitutes expensive...but in the context of "I have a coffee machine and cant use it because the element is dead" type of scenario, maybe something around $150.00 (?) could be quite reasonable for a one off element to get you going. They usually quote "one offs" by asking you to send it to them so that can see it etc. and then they give you a price. These days it could probably done with the flick of a digital photo with measurements. Of course to have e.g. 10 made, will bring the price down.... Hope that helps.

Stokes are near me. They are one of the biggest manufacturers of heating elements in Aus and quite helpful. Also sell many other appliance parts and have quite good online parts catalogues
