After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
I have a Krups Orchestro and it lets me know when it needs descaling amongst other things.
After each coffee session, i usually run the 'rinse' cycle 2 times to clear any sediment remaining, and i also run hot water through the automatic frother to eliminate milk reside build up as part of my maintanence of this equipment.
What i would like to know is, does this extra volume of water passing through the machine end up hastening the cycle for de-scaling?
And lastly, is there any prefered descaling kits that can be recommended?
Thanks
