Here are the top 6 placings from the WBC held over the weekend. Results at http://www.worldbaristachampionship.com/ I could not find any news on Maico's performance. the competition barista standard has never been so good, there are some real contenders for not only the australian title but also the world title. Sydney baristas are very strong as are adeliade and melbourne guys. I have no doubt that the top three at this years aasca comp have a real shot of top six in the wbc. Australia is quite lucky really, top have such a concentration of quality guys behind machines will mean that customers and retailers will be forced to take notice and we can then start really rolling in the right direction and become the envy of the espresso world. dreaming... NO WAY!!!
