After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Cunill Tranquilo Issues....

edited January 1970 in Espresso Machines
I am using the above grinder (doserless) in a small commercial outlet which is my first venture. I have encountered some issues with the grinder in that when I do a run of coffees and have to pull a number of doses in succession, the grind slowly deteriorates and the grind size becomes larger. It would appear that under pressure, there appears to be some internal expansion which is affecting grind quality. I am currently putting about 4 kg a week through it, however that tends to be concentrated at certain times throughout the day.....is this a fault of the grinder or is it just not built for such volumes?
