Hi,

Can someone tell me their experience with coffee roasted by a Green Bean Roaster, can it achieve pretty much the same result as conventional method, I heard this machine is so simple to use a 10 minutes training is all you needed.
Just follow the roasting profile I think some sort of program build in.

At the end of the day they are better than imported coffee. However, I trained to roast for 3 years and I would say my product is heaps better than what they produce. Great for novelty but you cant beat a pro roaster selling fresh quality stuff.

i get great results from my gene cafe roaster which i'm able to reproduce fairly accurately.  Of course you cant compare a $800 machine with one worth ten times that much, but with a bit of practise you can get very good results indeed. And the best thing about home roast is that you are guaranteed a fresh coffee when you need one, and  if it tastes like crap you can only blame yourself!
