After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Securing an Espresso Machine- Help Please!
Hi everyone! I work for a university that has a newer student run coffee shop. We've been doing pretty well so far only selling hot coffee and tea, and we've made enough money that we are currently renovating the space and we're going to buy a mini espresso machine to use post-reno. We have students that know how to use it and that are going to train the other workers, so having the espresso machine is not the problem.
Our problem is that after the coffee shop is closed each day, the area becomes a common space open to all students. We are faced with a dilemma as to how we are going to secure the $5k machine so it doesn't get stolen. A manager of mine suggested a weighted bag with a padlock maybe? Does anyone else have this problem/ a solution to this problem? Thanks!
