After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Coffeee Machine Repairers

edited January 1970 in Espresso Machines
Hi,
I have a Krups domestic coffee machine which I want to service, but I am struggling to find a coffee machine repairer.  I previously took it to a place in Brunswick, but it has closed and I am struggling to find an alternative repairer.  If anyone can help me find someone in Melbourne who repairs domestic coffee machines, I would be certainly grateful.

  • most commercial roasters have an in-house repair service I've had machines serviced  at coffex coffee before, and they did a good job failing that try contacting the distributor and ask them for a certified repairer for the machine google is also your friend here, and I found a mob in south melbounre who also did a stirling job for me cheers, pat
  • this is from Krups website: Contact for AU: E-mail: [email protected] Tel : (61) 2 97 48 79 44 Fax : (61) 2 97 48 79 22 Also if you have the books for your machine, it should state how to service it.... :-)
  • having problems with a much-loved Diadema Reale - anyone know of anyone good in Adelaide? A :-\
  • "anyone know of anyone good in Adelaide?" 9Bar would be good, I was most impressed by their presentations and helpfulness last week at the CafeBiz workshop. Not sure of the status of their Adelaide setup though, I think it's still in progress. I recently had my Mondiale serviced at Coffeecraft on South Road, they did an excellent job and I noticed a wide range of interesting equipment in the workshop.

Well interesting [& thanks for helpful responses] have had a terrible time with one outfit [will outline more in another thread] and have since had a helpful direction from Bill Comley of AASCA - will advise how that one works out. Have also heard good feedback on Coffee Craft & if I hadn't already dropped it off, would definitely have gone to them...
  • just a quick mention of Cheney & his team at Espresso Maintenance in Welland [Adelaide] - good guys & a great job. thanks guys A
