After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Hello!! And help

Hi!
Thank you for allowing me in your group! It's so cool that this exsis.
I have a Krups XP6180. It needs at least the group head seal. I've read that it's the same machine as the Sunbeam EM6910. Does anybody know if this is true? And if I can use that seal? I have not been able to find the Krups seal.
Thank you!!

  • Hi mate and welcome. Honestly don’t know but if you have the old seal you can take its measurements and coffeeparts (google them) will surely have something close. You may have to email or call them because it’s unlikely to be on the website but they are great guys and very much in the know. Welcome and get amongst the the other threads.

I have read that the Sunbeam EM6910 seal is also suitable to use on the Krups XO6180 machine However I don’t have actual verification of this from owners KK

Well how about that. I knew there was another iteration of the 6910 in Asia, but I didn’t realise there was a Krups rebrand out there. Where in the world are you based? I’m guessing you’re not in Australia. You’re right that a Sunbeam EM6910 gasket will fit. In fact it’s the only one that will fit and you won’t get it from a general coffee parts supplier. If you’re in Australia you’ll find 3 or 4 appliance service centers selling these gaskets on eBay. I’ve used Ewing Electrical in the past and they’re as good as anyone.
