Hi Girls and Guys,

I would like to know whether any cafe in Sydney takes advantage of the offering wireless internet to their customers. Overseas in small Belgium we are looking to invest in such a technology- seems like it is picking up in US (Starbucks).

Hi Eric - last time i was in Brussels, the coffee was terrible, but that was a few years ago.  Is there now a gourmet coffee movement in Belgium like there has been in Seattle and other places? L

Guys this is something i know about - see www.atomicwireless.com.au there are a heap of hotspot providers - but the problem is htat they require your customer to sign up (using credit card over the net) to an account for about $12 an hour.  this means someon can sit at your location and surf the web and take up a table for ages without buying anything. Look for the models that provide wireless for free - BUT have a way that the customer has to buy something from you. Dont fall into the trap of doing it yourself - you are not computer people and you dont have the software that stops someone abusing your bandwidth.
