After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Job Opportunity in Coffee Industry
Admin,
Decided to put this here for all to see in case not everyone looks at other parts of Forum:
We are looking for a person suited to servicing and repairing commercial and domestic espresso machines, and, to learn about and work in the coffee industry including making face to face sales to business people and the general public.
To this end the successful applicant will need to be flexible (ie no job demarcation) and be willing to learn and contribute to the day to day running of the business as a whole.
The successful applicant will need to be "handy" or have a technical background, be willing to undertake training both "in house" or through further education channels if necessary (or have an electrical or refrigeration trade background but nolonger wishing to work in those industries), be responsible, positive, clean cut, pleasant and well presented, and importantly, be able to handle the pressures of working in an environment where the clients require in many instances, their needs be handled with "instant" service.
Honesty and ability to work in a team, are a must. Long term committment and stability are a must. A genuine interest in coffee, is a must!
We are a very well established coffee roaster local to Canberra, a direct importer of espresso machines, and have experience in this industry sector dating back to the fifties.
Applicants seriously interested should make contact firstly by telephoning from (ie not before) Wednesday morning 18/05.
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT BY USING EMAIL OR THE INTERNAL MAIL THROUGH THIS SITE.
Regardz,
FC.
