New headline comp's not a bad idea; in the meantime i was wondering if anyone had any comments about the recently reported 'caffeine tablet' story in the sporting arena. This was something i picked out of today's SMH, that i thought was quite good: "With all the caffeine in rugby, let's hope the Waratahs don't play like skinny flat whites this weekend" Personally, i'd prefer a couple of good short blacks to tablets any day! -A

you know, i once read somewhere that there's more caffeine in a can of coke than there is in a well-extracted, robusta-free espresso? Something about contact time with the water. So if you want a caffeine hit, go for a plunger, or drip coffee.

interesting aside do you think Gloria Jeans franchisees will employ these convicted felons once they are out of gaol ????? or is this just another way of getting free publicity !!!! or maybe inmates would just get used to drinking bitter coffee and continue drinking it once they are out of gaol (one way to improve your customer base i guess  ::)

I dont know about "headline", but spotted this in an article in the Sun Herald a couple of days ago" ".....Cruisin up the corso, I'm feeling the cold. I'm into my third espresso and the caffeine buzz is blurring my vision, but the cherry red banquettes of the Cafe Commercio on the edge of Piazza dei Signori beckon.
