After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Crema beer??

edited January 1970 in Off-topic
Just noticed this in last week's Good Living (Sydney equivalent of Epicure) - a new boutique beer called crema!

According to the reviewer it's a coffee-infused pale ale and 'somehow it works - the creamy mouthfeel and restrained coffee hit produces a totally unexpected palate experience'!

anyone tasted it?

  • hehe as i was reading this i was preparing to bottle my double malt porter brew so added a shot to a couple of bottles i cant wait to see how it turns out  :P
  • It's a Matilda Bay Brewery beer; I've loved every Matilda Bay beer I've drunk (redback, rooftop red lager, beez neez etc), so I'm guessing it's good. The coffee is from one of the Australian Plantations.
