After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • hmm... sounds dangerously like a commercial post to me. If I were a moderator, I would be tempted to 'ping' this one! ACG
  • LOL!! i used to work at one of there stores! i was even lucky enough to have the man who made there training videos make me a shot of there Blue Mountain and yeah it was good for franchise coffee but not worth the $5.80 a cup they charge (or something like $18 for 250g of beans) i feel a bit bad for my boss but whenever some one asked me for a bag of those beans i would tell them exactly what i thought of it and point them in FC's direction. ohh and yeah like ACG said this reeks of an add and i do know that recently Jamaica Blue have been going to great lengths to sell there blue mountain (even offering people the chance to win an "espresso" machine)
  • I once forked out about five bucks for a cup of coffee made from Jamaican Blue coffee beans, from a cafe which shall remain nameless. The beans were on display in a plastic cup on top of the display cabinet, on a soaringly hot day, and the guy behind the counter tipped these beans into his grinder, and proceeded  to grind away, producing a cup of undrinkable swill.... Needles to say I asked for my money back! ACG
  • Well, Jamaica Blue Mountain Wallenford Estate coffee has not that I know of, actually been "un"available so I dont understand the context of the post (that it is "now available"). We have ordered it in from time to time, taken pre roast orders (this can take a few weeks because the demand & turnover are small due to the cost), and when there are enough orders to warrant roasting up a batch we do so... In the famous words of a past pollie...please explain? Regardz, FC.
  • Hi guys - sorry, have been crazy working on getting the summer issue to the printer before Christmas, so you're right, i missed this one... however, it looks like you've given it the treatment it deserves, so will now leave it up! best -A  ;)
  • And FC, I remember the last time you had some JBM in! Fantastic stuff. Can someone explain what the OP means by "indicate your interest here"?  hmmm
