After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

I'm back.

Morning all,

Arrived back in Aust 6 am yesterday morning, had a great time in Vietnam.
Am now in the process of unpacking and getting the body sorted out, long trip followed by a 2 hour drive home, I'm stuffed.
Will post more in the next couple of days. ;D

  • Welcome back, hope you had some fun :)
  • Did you try the local brew? What did you think? I had some very enjoyable coffees in Laos!
  • Welcome back DB! I bet you got ome amazing pictures!  How was the local beer? It was cheaper than the local water when we went... best holiday ever!!!
  • Happy endings included very good French pasteries and strong black local coffee (not robusta) served over ice with condensed milk optional !
  • Mate we missed you Hope you had a great time and when you settle in, have a few stories to share KK
  • G'Day all, First up I must apologise for my unannounced absence, got a call from our daughter in Melbourne inviting us over for a while and grandma Heather had us packed and on the road within a few hours ::) it's been pretty much a coffee free break, hardly ventured outside the city limits of Werribee. Back home now and things slowly returning to normal, if you can call guests from WA normal, SWMBO is planning our next o/seas venture, looks like Europe in January, I just carry the bags. Will get back into the flow of things over the next few days. Cheers, Dry Bean.
  • Hi Db - welcome back; for the record, thought we might as well merge with the thread from previous trip! A :)
