After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

hi guys~
i recently took over a cafe and coffee machine stinks..
previous owner didn't know much about cleaning and maintenance..

    For High end i'd reccommend the synesso but i doubt you'd want to spend that much on a new machine (yet).  For a more realistic option i'd recommend the ECA plus 333 or if you can find a well priced La Marzocco Linea go with that.

    I agree, go with the best machine you can afford, butt given the volume you are doing, a top end machine may be out of the question Best to get along to a couple of showrooms, and test run some equipment yourself, to see if its suitable to you r needs and meets all of y our expectations Many commercial roasters have fully refurbished machines for sale at heavily discounted prices, and some of them may not have even seen that much usage The important thing too remember is after sales service when you buy any machine, as you need to know that you will be able to get it serviced properly, in  atime frame that suits you, if you need to do so Cheers, ACG

    Guys, I love how you all assume go for twin boiler machines. Besides the fact that the merits vs the cons of these machines have been argued a number of time on this forum, the repair of them is much more costly than hx machines. For that volume I would recommend a VBM Evolution 3 group. It is a mid-priced, reliable heat exchange machine that I know is a great performer in terms of thermal stability. Basically my recommendation would be to buy the best 3 group hx machine with e61 or e64 group heads that you can afford. My (good) experience has been with the ECM's and VBM's. I second the above, buy from somebody local who can offer you the service support. And definately try before you buy. I would contact ECA 1300 326 326 and see where the closest place you can test one out is.

    respectfully, the ECA plus 333 is a Hx and not twin boiler.  Though i do back your VBM sugestion.  I find ECA to be a wonderful company to deal with, especially aftermarket.
