After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
I was thinking of giving the sample pack from the other forum a try, but figured with such a wealth of knowledge here I might be able to craft something a little more to my tastes.
I'm an espresso drinker and particularly loved the Sumatran Kuda Mas from Pioneer. My wife likes a strong piccolo latte.
Because I'm using a popper and not getting long roast times I need beans that will be more tolerant of 'rough' treatment.
My wife and I are enjoying doing this together, tasting the beans as they come out of the popper and generally want to be able to roast a variety of beans to create blends that are palatable to her as well as allowing me to enjoy learning about single origins.
So, roasting veterans, what do you recommend?
