After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Espresso Brew Formula. Useful, or internet quasi scientific BS?
I read elsewhere about an espresso brew formula (EBF), that is supposedly useful for characterising shots.
I confess to being highly sceptical.
EBF (%) = 100 * (dosage in grams)/(espresso mass in grams
I agree that mass rather than volume of the eluted fluid is a more suitable measurement, but don't feel EBF really adds much.
