After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

The Juggler - Cafe Milk Dispenser

Ran across this on the net today out of a Sydney group.

Not for every cafe due to availability of milk in bladders but this dispenser would be a real winner for time and product saving in a busy cafe. http://sixsimplemachines.com.au/

Auto dose controlled by jug weight, top up bump function, CIP and lots more features.  :thumb:

    And then some. It would have to be able to keep the milk cool too, so no doubt an underbench fridge is included in the installation.

    Over 5 grand then. You could employ someone just to open milk bottles for that. The jug washer sure but milk on tap, really ?

    Nah, you're not getting it. It's more environmentally friendly due to the use of less bottles. (sarcasm is a hard thing to convey in posts. This post contains it).

    $2.5-3k of fridge for a start. CIP (clean in place) system pumps electronics etc $10-15k would be likely but against wages/waste productivity payback would be sooner than you might think.

    So it's probably overkill for 2 afternoon lattes at home eh.  Tell ya what I'm gonna do... I'm going to rejoin CS and announce that I've spent $15k on coffee gear for home.  Then post a pic of one of these and an Aldi superauto and a bag of Lavazza.  :rofl: It'll blow their minds!!  :stir
