After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
San Marino Lisa-the popular machine
I have seen a lot of cafes recently changing to the san marino Lisa series in stainless steel.
I asked one the other day why they changed and they said they were offered a great price for the machine if they bought outright or leased.
I personally think they look great too, very nice in stainless.
Retail was offered a single group stainless for $3200 and 2 group for $3800.00
big boiler etc. there is lisa junior as well with a 5 litre instead of 8 litre boiler.
I must say i wouldnt mind the 5 litre boiler as a home machine.
I know its a commercial plumb job etc but im already down that road.
The store owner told me his price was amazing and seeing as he loved the looks as well bought a 2 group outright under what im quoting, way under. he is buying the supplier coffee for 12 months, but is under no contract to be exclusive, and felt that due to the lack of pressure they made a sale and he well may stick with the company long term.
They are open to what sort of roast he wants etc and its nice to here of nice traders out there.
does anyone know much of these machines and why they are so popular all of a sudden. or is it just melbourne getting them all.
cheers
