After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Fox channel Nat Geographic are currently running a series called "Mega Factories" ,..one of which is about the Illy Coffee business based in Trieste, Italy.
A fascinating insight for anybody with an interest in Espresso
There is a lot of good coffee background information, an outline of the industrial process and a few debatable statements ( EG .Illy developed the first Espresso machine ?,...roasted beans need to "mature for 3 weeks before packing ?,)
Most interesting was Illy's conviction that coffee stored and packed under nitrogen gas stays exactly as roasted for many months !
Of special note was the collection of coffee cup art . !
As with most of these fox programs, it is being repeated weekly ...if not daily.
