After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

My new K10 Conical

Hey Gal... the Eagle has landed !!!

Thanks to Galumay owning too many grinders, I have been presented the opportunity to go large conical.  Clearly I don't own anywhere near enough grinders so Gal's addition to my grinder harem is most welcome.  Reviews on the A8 and K10 to follow...in about 6 weeks! I have bought Apple products off Galumay and now a large behemoth grinder and all transactions were delightfully easy and he is as nice a guy on the email and phone as he is on the forum!

    Thanks guys... No Jonty, I clearly have a disorder... BF is incurable.  I fear that soon the ludicrous nature of my bench will be too much for my wife and my mogul grinder days will be over.  But not before extensive testing  :thumb:  The silver F5 will go to the studio with the Pavoni.  The Lux with the missing lid will be retired (not pictured).  The Rocky will stay at work for Plunger (click-clack is its saviour), the K10 is my dream grinder and my initial shots have blown my mind (more on this later and yes Im aware that I don't have a world class palate and I could potentially cause retailers grief with more Internet rubbish about big conical s being the only way: clearly they are not).  The A8 with the new burrs is a most excellent grinder and looks hardly used.  It was destined for a family cafe for decaf duties but their rep sourced a CC45 for them at a worse price.  I will enjoy running the 83mm burrs against the 71mm conicals and discerning a difference. Then flog one!

    Glad to see it arrived safely Brett, at least you having more in your collection means I have one less!! I would not have sold the K10 if it wasnt for the HG-One, but I reached grinder nirvana with the HG-One and it was sad seeing the K10 sitting there not being used so I looked for a good home for it. Thanks for the kind comments too, Brett. Equally I have always found you a pleasure to deal with.

    Single dose with a chute brush!  I love this grinder and he resulting coffees so much I'm listing the A8 for sale on the bay.  I just don't need it!  The K10 has cured my upgrade needs!
