After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

SOLD: Quick Mill 0996 Mod Achilles Single Group Lever Machine

Hi,

Bet you never saw this coming?

Due to financial constraints (I want a new kitchen, not the wife! :) ), I've decided to sell my lovely Quick Mill 0996 Mod Achilles Single Group Lever Machine which was bought from Jack at Sorrentina Coffee at the beginning of the year.

It's pulled 2-4 shots a day, and is in as new condition.

Specs.

COFFEE MACHINE IN STAINLESS STEEL "Achilles" - MOD.0996

- Lever professional group (same as the Bosco, L1, but has 2 springs)
- Copper boiler 4.5 lt.
- Automatic reloading of the boiler with electronic level probe
- Glass level
- Lance anti burn steam
- Lance anti burn water
- Rotary pump
- Certified safety valve
- Safety thermostat with reset
- Steel cup warmer
- Siri Pressurestat to control the boiler pressure
- Water tank: 3 lt and connections/hoses to plumb
- Drip try can also be plumbed.

What do you get?

The machine, which weighs 40kg
Everything that came with the machine, which includes hoses for plumbing it in, the crappy plastic tamper, 2 group handles (1 single, 1 double), double and single basket & manual.
Also included is a 58mm tamper that I got with the machine.
2 EP HQ ridgeless baskets (1 double, 1 triple) that I bought to use with it.
1 Nakid group handle for watching your god shots (a must have).

Pickup from Sunshine Coast, or I can probably drop it off in Brisbane if asked really nicely.  As a bonus I've built a little custom stand out of a 600mm bunnings cupboard which you are more than welcome have.  It's set to just over 1 meter tall, so above standard bench top which makes using the lever much easier if your tall like me.

I do have the packaging and pallet that the machine was delivered on so it can be purchased by an interstate buyer, but the buyer will have to arrange pickup and delivery, and I won't accept any liability if it gets damaged in transit.  It's a heavy machine!

The price.  $3,000 o.n.o.  The RRP on these is over $4k.
