After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Faema E61

Just came across an original Faema E61 in an old restaurant we had.

    are we talking about a two or three group machine here and when you say old - how old are we talking? i've see restored two groups advertised for $7000 but i bet there wouldn't be many takers for this kind of money

    A restored GS 2 group La Marzocco was put on ebay recently around the $9500 mark.  It looked amazing.  No idea if it sold and what it sold for.  Not sure if that would help with your pricing.

    Dont be fooled by advertised or asking prices, these are not what the equipment actually sells for and that is something you never know unles you were one of the 2 parties involved in the individual transaction. The answer is "who knows?" However as a guide I have in the past sold a 1 group E61 for 55, and the last 2 grouper I sold for (from memory)

    PS be careful with "restoring". Very often an original condition but well kept complete machine looks far better than a shiny new looking thing which has been fully restored with new parts, polished chromed etc. and ends up looking corny or overdone.
