Replacement collar for em6900 and also em6910-anyone have a good spare-Please?

Hello Champion coffee people,
My collection of sunbeam em's (both 6910 and 6900) are looking good except for excessively worn collars.
I don't need whole machines (too expensive with postage) just the parts, don't want to purchase new as they are too costly.
If others are like me ,some parts will be available,I hope.
Cheers
Mick

  • I think the only one on here that still dabbles in the parts is QM0996 so you could send him a pm. Maybe time to upgrade ? ;)
  • Someone was trying to sell a 6900 collar they had ordered by mistake on CS a few weeks ago.
  • noidea, Yes,have both replied at original post and have pm'ed with no response, must have lost heart! cheers Mick.
  • Dear Coffee lovers, I still have my very sad sunbeam em6900 & 6910's waiting for a kind donation of replacement collars,do you know of any dead machines that may yield a part or two? I'm not prepared to purchase new as these machines cost very little,I have spare operating machines so I'm good for the time being. Thank you in atticipation. Cheers Mick.
  • Dear Coffee Machine Users, I'm still hoping to acquire a group head collar (in good order) to suit my EM6900 sunbeam, now I also need a 20watt steam pump (UKLA or similar). If anyone has one laying about I would be most grateful ,will pay a reasonable cost plus postage for these items. Last count I will need another two group handles to make my collection complete, thank you. Cheers, Mick.  PS almost forgot, need a EM6910 boiler as well, opened up my EM6910 and previous owner had tightened brass connectors to boiler, sheered off the copper pipe, was considering fitting a QR alternative to the broken pipe section but might be better keeping genuine with a replacement boiler instead, what do you have ?
  • Hi mate, I'll keep a look out as I'm sure we all will but these machines are now getting a bit long in the tooth so imagine spates will less common.  Good luck mate!
  • I got given a EM6910 but the collar was buggered, the steam didn't work consistently and someone drilled holes in the group handle in an attempt to make a nakid (it's not brass as they found out! haha).  Sadly it went to landfill which annoys me.  But the guru Anger management told me I was wasting my time fixing it.  :( It's a pity these machines weren't made to be more serviceable.  They are great machines, making a great coffee for a decent price.
  • Dear coffee lovers, Thank you for your support,I really believe people saying "it's not worth it" is just a real cop out and giving in to this throw away society. I'm fighting back and so far I'm still in the black, just waiting for my collection to build until I can eventually pass on fixed and operational machines,I have three EM6910 ready to move on,awaiting new owners (appreciative) owners that is. Sunbeam EM6900 and 6910 are getting older however , when fully operational are great machines to use and with persistence, I'll eventually have my satisfaction. Cheers, Mick.
