After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • yeah, read that this morning admittedly i go for small locoal roasters, but its kinda sad that a successful Melbourne roaster which has built its reputation from scratch, and produces some slightly better coffee than alot of the other major roasters, go to a multinational whose only reason for the takeover is to sell more coke to cafes.
  • Finally sold it! For those in the know, Grinders has been on the market for years! Lars ;)
  • Hi guys - it's pretty common knowledge that Vittoria turned Coke down, so they bought Grinders. But now my original source says they're looking at Vittoria again, as well! Obviously i protested that they're sure to be content with growing Grinders to the extent that it poses a serious challenge to the big V, but he assures me there is some substance to this. I stress that i class this as a rumour only at this stage, but would be interested to know if anyone knows anything more. -A
  • Admin So is it the right time to buy shares in V. Or should we hang onto our Coke shares????? JD
