After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Thanks for posting the info and experience so far with ICT guys, have been eyeing them off for a bit now, definitely keen to try them out! Looks like they've got a great range, definitely that Ethiopian Guji natural I've got my eye on... I think that bean was the first which absolutely got me beyond hooked to coffee, that espresso was seriously the most incredible experience. Of course I've never been able to find the exact bean haha, every crop is gonna be different. Was curious about shipping, seems to Victoria between 1-5kg is $15. More than 5kg it's $30. More than 10kg is $40. More than 20kg is $60. I may do a 5kg order at some stage methinks!
I’ve had the Brazilians and the Unganda. All superb!
Good to hear. Sometimes it is so hard to choose.

Hi Simon. I ordered 6 kilos to Adelaide and that was $15 shipping also. I just played around a bit at the checkout adding and then taking out. From memory 4 kilos was the same shipping as 6kilos. I'm debating whether to contact them over a tracking number or not. I hate not knowing when stuff is arriving as I like to make sure I am home.
So, my second lot of beans from ICT are being delivered today by Aust Post along with 5 kilos from elsewhere. For some reason it was much faster going this time round by Aust Post. My first order took a week, this one 4 days. Excited!
I had a minor hiccup this time around. There was one bag missing but I used their live chat function and I was told they would have one sent out to me that day. No harm done.
Hi everyone I'm looking at buying some beans from ICT for the first time. Anyone have any particular beans they have tried and would recommend? I'm looking at trying various ones from Africa, South and Central America, India ... the "works and jerks" as my Dad would say ;-) Thanks, Dan
So far out of what I have bought from ICT I have roasted and drank the Burundis, Sidimos, and the Kongas and they were all lovely. YTMV (Your tastes may vary) :coffee2:
Hi mate, they’re all fresh! Some stand-outs I’ve had have been their Monsooned Robusta and any and all of the Brazilians and the Nicaraguan Santa Rita.
I'm tempted too but I am sitting on a few too many, for me, at the moment plus I just forked put for a new grinder, again, so I am in $$ recovery mode lol. His prices have gone up a bit too but he is still well priced.
Everyone...thanks for the recommendations. I will be placing an order shortly. Even got a "10% off my first purchase" offer, which is a nice sweetener ;-)
