After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

I have miles of this stuff KK. I fairly recently travelled to Binasco to see the MUMAC museum at the La Cimbali factory. Honestly one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I will dig out some highlight lever shots and post them here when I get some more time.
Lucky man Those photos will be something to wait for 👌 KK
  • Awesome machines Aaron!  You've come to the right place if you want to wow Lever enthusiasts :D
  • Oh. Beautiful levers. Here’s a Profitec Pro 800 I recently had powdercoated in matt black: db894ae1e78da3e1dfefe54981bfa976.jpg Visit my Melbourne showroom to have a play :)
  • Awesome pics guys, have never owned a lever (a fellow let me play with one at MICE last year which was fun), but have always admired them. And I've never been to cafe that uses lever machines either!
  • Stealth lever ..... love it!!!!
  • Here is some photos of the Lever section of the MUMAC museum. Actually it was all a bit overwhelming, I didn't really take as many photos as maybe I should.
  • Here's a few more.  The Guys at La Cimbali were so nice, someone spent a few hours walking around the museum with us explaining things. They also showed the new E71 and made us about a dozen coffees to show us its various features. My wife is not used to that level of caffeine and completely bugged out and had to spend the rest of the day in a darkened hotel room.

This thread has lay dormant for quite some time. Like an old lever machine sitting out the back of an old cafe.  I have been a member of this site for quite a while but haven't posted for a long time  so here seemed as good as anywhere to burst back onto the online stage. I thought id start with a nice three group Eureka I found in a cafe in Paris, unfortunately they weren't using it and the coffee that I did buy was dreadful.
nice.looking machine shame it's not being put to good use !
  • Here’s my lever, it’s only a baby compared to some of the works of art in this thread. It’s a 1976 model that I purchased in reasonable working condition. 6dd48d04c691ccb8230ccab8f6d420ce.jpg c59a7e1747c601abad9ff65017c303cb.jpg a6e378f9617f03625d84574b6d740868.jpg I fully restored it about 5 years ago including new seals, stripped paint back to bare metal including the badge. 70778756de2362d682423593eb0ac7d9.jpg0f7a6b01ec248905a4f3213009aa58bc.jpgba76f3e035f120b042f921d88e12fcc8.jpg9bb712d4a97b326c99e8399c98ff3428.jpg Now she sits alongside my daily driver Giotto Evo and gets the occasional chance to pull a shot as well. Hoping to find something bigger to restore at some point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

any chance of seeing some shots pulled on that awesome looking number ?
  • Here's my '76 Europiccola.
  • My Mini Gaggia. Not the easiest machine to pull consistent shots from - its probably more about my sloppy technique than anything else - but I find its less forgiving than a smaller diameter PF.
  • Not sure what I need to do to post pictures into the post rather than thumbnails.
  • Nice machines Aaron and Fg1972  :thumb:

Nice little Gaggia When one presses the thumbnail it will automatically expand to full size It’s how the site manages “uploaded images “ However when images are linked The full size is shown KK
  • Cuuuute!!! Love that Gaggia!!!!

More to come. I have a been collecting domestic lever machines since my first coffee machine purchase - a Bezzera Familia- which I deeply regret selling when I moved back to Sydney from the US. Since then I have been trying to fill the hole with other lever machines like this la Peppina by FE-AR.
Mine has been my daily machine for around 10 years now. ed4tgzT.jpg
  • Nice red hot lever machine Is that an Astoria ? KK

It's the Bezzera Family Lever from the 1970s - very similar to the Sama Club of the same vintage.

I actually thought it may have been a Bezzera but it looks newer That’s why I thought it looks like an Astoria Gloria. It’s possible that the design was borrowed from Bezzera KK
  • Here’s a stealthy Profitec Pro 800 for the galley: 73d1ea01bff52ba868396d80b9e39548.jpg
