After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Did the postman bring anything nice today?

    Love.it  :rofl: Mate of mine has a new fridge also with full ice and cold water on demand.  My wife insists that our fridge has no fancy features.  She teckons that the more stuff it has, the less real-estate internally/$.  One day...
    My wife also wanted on that is plumbed in for cold water and ice on demand. My response was $150 for a plumber and another $500 for that feature vs a water pitcher and a couple ice trays for $20. Nipped that I the butt real quick. That $650 'savings' can go towards a bean roaster. The nerve of that woman [emoji41]

    Yesterday I received 3 x 500gms bags of beans from MyCuppa. I'm just finishing off the last of the Roasters Choice Colombian and then I can crack these babies  :coffee2:.

    Hi Geek, I have the Panama Boquete, the Costa Rica Tarrazu and the Brazilian Cambara. I am on my first cup of the Panama now, it is fairly chocolate dominant and creamy but it is a very mild coffee if that makes sense  ::).

    They look beautifully made but if I'm brually honest they're not my cup of tea.  Still if they showed up at my place I would undoubtedly enjoy drinking from them.  Just no photos please.

    The postman brought me heaps of Pigeon bottles after trial and error of other brand such as medela, closure to nature etc. the pigeon bottles have worked like a charm today. She is so hungry that my wife can't keep up so baby needs a formula top up. #milkbar

    Got my modified Rancilio Epoca back from repairs recently,  then it started hissing steam as soon as the boiler heated up - so I sent it back again before going on holiday Fingers crossed I pick it up again tomorrow in working order ! Good thing I've got the Sunbeam Cafe Series to fall back upon !

    Got my coffee machibe baxk in A1 working condition - and new group seal means that it's much more ergonomic to use To celebrate I had a few folks over for coffee thus morning and served up some of my home roast png organic Naturals - which came up a treat ! Also giving my recently purchased Behmor Plus a bit of a workout,  and loving the results - I do find however that it struggles with the maximum pay load in this cold weather, but cutting back marginally on the amount of beans that I'm using seems to do the trick ...

    That cold spell over there must be playing havoc with coffee roasting especially for those who have to do it outdoors.. Even the queenslanders had snow which is unusual. Heading for another drought here in WA. Plenty of warm and fine weather.

    Oh! Nice coffee sign ! And yeah, cold spell not great for coffee roasting -  I dropped my batch size down to 300g because 400g was not cutting it - the larger roast size was coming up a bit short in my preferred roast profile - even allowing for the added time extensions on the Behmor Suppose I could always do a preheat but with glass heating elements I expect the temperature to come up to spec pretty quickly No such problems with the coretto - but it's been a bit too cold to roast outside All in all though can't complain as I've been drinking great coffee and getting s*** done and I guess that's the main thing!
