After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
The location may not be immediately obvious, but this is 'the' famous VeniceBeach in LA. That fine strapping young man is my 195 cm 16 yo son, Corey. As I type this Corey is literally boarding his plane at LAX, for the flight home. This is the culmination of a three week playing tour with the Boomerangs Junior Varsity Basketball tour. It has been the opportunity of a lifetime for my young son. I am very proud of my boy.
Ventured over to the Port Fairy Market, saw a massive line of people waiting for a nirvana coffee from a Izzo 3grp running MyCuppas Suuweet. The lines were deeper than 12noon at Maccas! So I went & brought some lovely buffalo cheese while the lines died down. Below is a pic of the line when I jumped in!! BF was looking at a 6-8kg morning takings!! Yep smashed!!
Better still, get a couple of girls with long legs and short skirts, handing out free samples and taking orders and you could have had that looking like the 'Bar' at the MCG on Boxing Day!!!! Note to self: must order a bag of Suuweet with next order : pan
C'mon Jonty - what sort of mate ? Give the man a hand..........
Jeff, he already had himself and a 'skirt' on the levers!! Three would of been a crowd and with two big conicals running, not sure I could of helped in that Oztrail 3m by 3m tent!! Was great to see him under the pump and churning the 'buckets' out along with a number of bonsoy lattes. I must admit from that pic I was at the end of the line and made my way forward quick smart! And to top it off, my 2 girls got a baby cino with marshmallows for a simple smile (although they wanted to pat Blue who was MIA).....
